The 9-11 Memorial honors all those lost on September 11, 2001 as well as those that have protected our Nation and Community. The Memorial contains steel and marble which has been recovered from Ground Zero, mounted to a granite base and is a permanent monument on the grounds of our department. The Uniformed Services Memorials represents each branch of our Armed Forces. Pavers are placed in the Hero’s Walkway, leading to and between the memorial pedestals, giving a permanent tribute to our loved ones.
